NOS Alive (formerly Optimus Alive) first took place in 2007. The festival has quickly become one of the most popular festivals in the world, with huge acts since its creation, like Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine and Depeche Mode.

In addition to astonishing lineups, the Portuguese festival is famous for its incredible atmosphere. Under the sun of Lisbon, NOS Alive delivers a wide variety of food, from sushi to local dishes, delicious hamburgers with the best meat of Alentejo, and vegetarian options, among others. Where should I stay?

Lisboa Camping is one of the best festival campsites in Europe. Imagine a four star camping ground in the woods with a pool, a restaurant area, a bathhouse, tennis courts and everything you need in the camping market. This beautiful place is located in Monsanto, five minutes by car from the fesitval area. You can stay there for three, four or five nights if you want to enjoy tourism in Lisbon after the festival.

If you don’t want to camp, you can find hostels near Algés, for example in Santos where trains are very frequent.
