The German twin festivals explain that they cannot go ahead due to the coronavirus pandemic. The national government has extended its ban on events until the end of August, leaving them no other choice but to cancel.
The organisation is asking all the fans to be patient while they are working on the exact procedure regarding the already bought tickets. All information will be known soon.
The twin German festivals had a great line-up on the way. Headliners were System of a Down, Green Day and Volbeat. Many more were on the poster, including Korn, Deftones, Weezer and Billy Talent.
Across Europe, several festivals have already been cancelled because of the coronavirus. It is only a matter of time until more festivals will follow. While we may not be able to go to many festivals this summer, there are still shows to enjoy. Check out the Festival Concert series and our updated overview of artists’ live streams.
