According to French radio DJ Francis Zegut, Pearl Jam and Billie Eilish are postponing their tours until 2021. Pearl Jam would have headlined Rock Werchter, and Lollapalooza Paris and Stockholm. Billie Eilish also tops the Lollapalooza Paris line-up, as well as those of Mad Cool and NOS Alive 2020.
According to the Frenchman’s Facebook, Pearl Jam and Billie Eilish will no longer be performing at these festivals. Zegut is usually well-informed about French festivals, so the information likely comes from Lollapalooza Paris. The artists or festivals have not yet confirmed this.
After the American rockers Pearl Jam revealed they are working on a new album at the beginning of the last year, they announced a European tour later in the year. They were set to be playing at a couple of festivals including Rock Werchter, Lollapalooza Stockholm, and Lollapalooza Paris.
Billie Eilish also revealed a huge tour for this summer just when last year’s festival season was coming to an end. She made all festival-goers happy and excited about the summer of 2020. The American singer announced performances at Mad Cool, NOS Alive, I-Days and Lollapalooza Paris.
Unfortunately, these postponements are not a very big surprise with the many cancellations coming in lately. We collect all the latest updates about the coronavirus’ impact on music festivals. Find our liveblog and overview of postponed and cancelled festivals here.
