Rock Werchter releases this statement at a time when many events are cancelled in Belgium and the rest of Europe. The organisation stresses that the safety of artists, fans and workers is always the highest priority. The global coronavirus outbreak is a new situation for everyone, and they understand that many festivalgoers are uncertain about what will happen.
Rock Werchter 2020 takes place from 2 to 5 July. Visitors will enjoy Pearl Jam, The Strokes, Kendrick Lamar, System of a Down and many more at the Belgian festival. Although they are not thinking of cancelling or postponing now, this could change in the future. The organisation will follow all the instructions given by local institutions and health authorities.
The Belgian government has created an official information website about the coronavirus. Check this page when you are travelling to Rock Werchter (or Graspop).
