Coldplay frontman Chris Martin confirms the band will not be touring their upcoming record Everyday Life in the near future.

Big disappointment for all Coldplay fans! The long-awaited eighth studio album Everyday Life, which is going to hit the stores on 22 November, will not be followed by a tour. Instead, the band wants to play a couple of small broadcast shows, like the one for YouTube from Jordan on the day of release. Chris Martin further says that Coldplay will eventually tour but this will not be for a while as you can see from the post below:

At the same moment, this statement decreases the chances of seeing Coldplay perform during next year’s festival season. So far, they have only been confirmed to feature at Global Citizen Festival 2020 whose curator is Chris Martin. In an additional post, Coldplay have already ruled themselves out for Glastonbury 2020. The only thing we can do to suppress the blues is to look forward to the new record and stay tuned!
