Mad Cool 2020 reveals 31 new acts and poster

Mad Cool 2020 confirms more than 30 new names, including Charli XCX, Angel Olsen and Rex Orange County. The four-day Spanish festival also reveals its first poster for the 2020 edition, will take place between 8 and 11 July.

With this massive new announcement, Mad Cool’s line-up is really taking shape. Several indie and pop artists are added, as well as a series of electronic bands and DJs.

Earlier, the Madrid festival confirmed the first six headliners. Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Twenty One Pilots, The Killers, Kings of Leon and Faith No More already lead the line-up. According to the poster, two more headliners will be revealed for the Mad Cool Friday.

Mad Cool 2020

Charli XCX

Charli XCX is an English pop singer. In 2012, she collaborated with Icona Pop on the hit song ‘I Love It’. A year later, Charli released her debut album True Romance, followed by Sucker in 2014. Third album Charli came out in 2019, and featured collaborations with Troye Sivan, Lizzo, HAIM and many others. At Primavera Sound 2019, she performed the song ‘Gone’ together with Christine and the Queens. Charli has also worked together with other pop icons such as MØ, Tove Lo and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Mad Cool 2020

Mad Cool is an annual festival that takes place in Madrid, Spain. Only at its fifth edition, it has nonetheless quickly gained international recognition. Last year, it was headlined by The National, The Cure, and Bon Iver. Acts like Disclosure, Tash Sultana, American Authors, Greta Van Fleet, The 1975, and many more performed there as well.
