Mad Cool announces Deftones for its 2020 edition. The Spanish festival will take place in Madrid from 8 to 11 July.

Next year’s festival schedule for American alternative metal band Deftones is getting tighter. The quintet has been confirmed to be taking the stage of Mad Cool next summer. Previously, the boys had already stated they were going to perform at Rock am Ring & Rock im Park and Download in 2020. It seems quite likely, the band might make a couple more appearances throughout the upcoming year and indulge us with their powerful and unique sound. Check out the post below:

Mad Cool reveals one new artist each day and thus slowly but steadily fill its line-up. Besides Deftones, the most recent addition has been Richard Hawley. Furthermore Wolf Alice, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and many more were already announced previous weeks.

Deftones

Deftones formed in 1988 in Sacramento, California. The band quickly established a solid fanbase and sometimes is referred to as ‘the Radiohead of metal’. Although over the years, their aggressive sound has become more and more experimental, the majority of the fans has remained faithful and made the band one of today’s biggest acts. Deftones have released eight records of which their latest record Gore was published in 2016.
