Nine Inch Nails booked but cancelled for 2020 European festivals

Nine Inch Nails

It would have been amazing for 2020, to have Nine Inch Nails play some of our favourite European festivals. Unfortunately, they had to cancel. Maybe in 2021 then?

In an interview with Radio Primavera Sound, Gaby Ruiz, organizer of the Spanish festival, said that the American rock band was originally booked for both Barcelona and Porto, but their tour got postponed to 2021. We can only guess which other festivals the American band were supposed to do.

Primavera Sound festival goers will still be able to listen to Pavement, as they are the first confirmed band for the Spanish festival. The rest of the line-up will hopefully be announced in early December.

Nine Inch Nails

Nine Inch Nails are an American industrial rock band that was founded by Trent Reznor in 1988. The band released their first album a year later. Since then they have sold more than twenty million album copies worldwide. Their albums The Downward Spiral and The Fragile are considered to be two of the most influential albums of the 1990s. Nine Inch Nails also gained worldwide attention when, in 2003, their song ‘Hurt’ was covered by Johnny Cash. The band has won two Grammy Awards, and they have been nominated twice for induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
