USA’s major festival has announced full-line up including names like Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande. The festival will be held over two executive weekends between 12-14 and 19-21 April 2019 in California.

Other announced names include artists like Janelle Monáe, The 1975, Solange, Weezer, Khalid and Zedd. You can check the full announcement of Coachella 2019 below.

According to various sources, Sundays headliner was supposed to be Kanye West. However, it is rumoured he dropped out at the last minute because he found the stage too small for his performance.

Childish Gambino

Danny Glover’s stage persona Childish Gambino is one of the most influential hip-hop artists of the new era. He released his first studio album Camp in 2011. He has been nominated for the Grammy Awards seven times with his following albums Because the Internet and “Awaken, My Love!”. In 2018, his single “This is America” became one of the most viewed videos of all time due it’s shocking visuals and criticism of black people stereotypes.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival that takes place in Indio, California. The festival first started in 1999 and since 2012 it takes place during two consecutive three-day weekends in April. With over 250,000 people attending every year, the festival has become one of the most famous, profitable and largest festivals in the United States and all over the world. Last year, the headliners included EminemThe Weeknd and Beyoncé.
