During its last edition many people criticized the logistics of the festival. Mad Cool adressed such concerns during a press conference. The festival will take place from 11 to 13 july 2019.

During the press conference, Mad Cool announced many names, including The Smashing Pumpkins, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Greta Van Fleet and more. They also took the opportunity to announce improvements for next year. These include technical innovations and a better infrastructure:

They will give more space to the people with a series of 3 measures: The number of stages will be 6 instead of 7. There will not be a VIP area in front of the main stages. Additionally the number of participants will be reduced by 5.000. Festival wristbands will be sent to everyone prior to the event. Also the festival will work with a new partner to ensure a problem-free technical network.

More good news: the return transportation from the venue in Valdebebas to the center of Madrid will be free from 1.30 am to 5.30 am. They also promised to improve the access roads, expand the number of staff put in longer bars and also add more WC units.
