Longitude has announced its first names. Chance The Rapper, A$AP Rocky, Future and many more will perform at Marlay Park in Dublin next year. Longitude 2019 takes place between 5-7 July. 

Other names that were also confirmed include Brockhampton, Rae Sremmurd, Juice Wrld, Denzel Curry and many more.  The festival has also announced that weekend tickets will go on sale this Friday 10:00am.

For Chance The Rapper, this is only the first European festival announcement for 2019. This is the fifth festival announcement for A$AP Rocky as you will be able to see him at Melt, Sónar, Tinderbox and Dour next summer.

Chance The Rapper

Chancellor Jonathan Bennett aka Chance The Rapper, is an American hip-hop artist from Chicago born in 1993. After the relase of his second mixtpe Acid Rap in 2013, he started gaining a lot of recognition from the media. He released his third mixtape Coloring Book in 2016, which became the first album to chart on the US Billboard 200 solely on streams, peaking at number eight. His mixtape won the Best Rap Album award at the 2017 Grammy’s. For some people, Chance The Rapper is considered one of the most promising hip-hop artists of the last years.

 

Longitude 2019

Longitude is an annual music festival that takes place at Marlay Park in Dublin. It was organized for the first time in 2013 and since then many famous artists have performed at the festival including Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons, Travis Scott and more.
