Storzmy will probably be confirmed as a Glastonbury’s headliner soon. According to efestivals who broke the news, he will be supported in Worthy Farm by Childish Gambino or Liam Gallagher.

A few months ago, British grime megastar posted a picture on Instagram quoting Noel Gallagher. It was the first indication that he might take one of the main spots at Glastonbury next year.

Now, we also have this quote by festival organiser Emily Eaves:

Stormzy is not a stranger to the biggest festivals in Europe, this year he already performed at Roskilde and next March he will perform in Austria during Snowbombing Festival.

If you want to know who else you may expect at Glastonbury 2019, we have listed the biggest rumours here.

Stormzy was born in July 1993 in London. His debut album Gang Signs and Prayers was the first grime record ever to reach number one in the UK charts. Stormzy won two MOBO Awards, in 2014 and 2015, for Best Grime Act. He was the first unsigned rapper to appear on Jools Holland’s famous tv show. His second album is due to be released early next year.

Glastonbury is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England. Apart from the performing musical acts, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, and other activities. The festival is considered to be the largest greenfield festival in the world. It was organized for the first time in 1970 and since 1981, the festival takes place every four out of five years. The English festival occupies an important place on every festival and music-lover’s bucket list. After a ‘fallow-year’ in 2018, the festival will return next year.
