Rock Werchter 2019 announces Macklemore for Sunday’s show. The major Belgian festival will take place between 27-30 June at Werchter’s festival park.
The new announcement revealed 9 names performing on Friday and Sunday. The Friday show got Weezer, The 1975, Jungle, Tom Misch and Kurt Vile & The Violators. Macklemore, Clean Bandit, Two Door Cinema Club and Underworld are joining the Sunday bill.

Macklemore is an American singer, rapper and producer from Seattle. Thanks to his collaboration with the producer Ryan Lewis, he reached the number one position on the US Billboard Hot 100 with his singles ‘Thrift Shop’ and ‘Can’t Hold Us’. Besides being a radio star, he has also already performed spectacular gigs at the best festivals, including Rock Werchter 2016.
Rock Werchter 2019
In 1974, Rock Werchter started as a one-day festival. With almost 90,000 visitors each day and around 80 bands for its four-day lineup, it is now one of the biggest festivals in Europe. Through its 44 years, it has hosted a variety of music genres and artists. From Metallica and Iron Maiden to David Bowie and Paul McCartney, all have performed at the Belgian festival.
