Bloodstock Open Air has announced several new names to next year’s lineup, including several UK exclusive shows of bands on the 2019 bill. All bands announced today will perform on the Ronnie James Dio main stage.

Today’s announcement is the most recent one since Sabaton was announced as Friday’s headliner. Children of Bodom will join Friday’s lineup on the main stage with a UK exclusive show. Cradle of Filth was also added to the bill today. They will be playing on Saturday. The remaining bands from the announcement will all be playing on the main stage on Sunday, namely Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, Queensrÿche, Hypocrisy and Soilwork. The announcement says it will be Soilwork delivering a UK exclusive show. However, the poster – which can be seen below – shows it will be Hypocrisy with a UK exclusive.

Bloodstock Open Air is a British heavy metal festival. With its first edition in 2005 and only one stage, it expanded to five stages from 2015. The festival originally began as an indoor festival held in Derby Assembly Rooms. After selling out the indoor festival because of maximum capacity, the decision was made to extend with the outdoor festival version. Later, the organisers decided their growth only included the outdoor festival with the last indoor edition in 2006. The following years brought names from all over the world, such as Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Megadeth and many more.
