Roskilde 2018 has finalized its lineup with the addition of the American guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., PartyNextDoor, Blonde Redhead and many more. The festival takes place at the end of June.
Other acts that were confirmed include Courtney Marie Andrews, Haley Heyndericx, Madball, Marlon Williams and more. These acts will join Eminem, Nine Inch Nails, Bruno Mars, Gorillaz and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who headline the festival this summer.
Earlier, it was already revealed that Albert Hammond Jr. will also be performing at Rock Werchter in July.
Furthermore, Roskilde revealed the daily schedule of the festival, which includes the stage-times of each artist performing this year. To see the schedule, you can view it here. The festival also announced that the day-tickets for Thursday are almost sold-out.
Albert Hammond Jr.
Albert Hammond Jr. is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and music producer born in 1980. He is mostly known as the rhythm and lead guitarist of the indie rock band The Strokes. However, he started his career as a solo artist and his debut album Yours to Keep was released in 2006. He is currently touring to promote his last album Francis Trouble which was released in March 2018.
Since 1971, Roskilde has been one of the largest European music festivals. The strong lineup includes 175 acts performing on eight different stages. From rock and metal to hip hop, electro, dance, world music, and other arts, everything is represented. Every year, the festival attracts crowds of over 80,000 people to the small Danish town of the same name.
