Jack White announces European tour for autumn 2018

The American musician Jack White has expanded his current tour with the addition of fifteen new shows across Europe this October. Tickets will go on general sale on 25 May at 10 am local time.

After a run of shows across the U.S. and Europe, including summer festivals such as Beauregard FestivalNuits de Fourvière and Lollapalooza, Jack White will be touring across the European continent this fall. With five shows in the UK and four shows in Poland, this will be his first European headline tour in four years.

Like with his current U.S. tour dates, the European shows will probably be phone-free. Jack White has described this measure at an interview given to Metallica’s Lars Ulrich as an ”interesting art experiment” and a ”100% human experience”.

Jack White is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer born in 1975. He released his first album as the singer and guitarist of The White Stripes in 1999. After the band was dissolved in 2011, he focused on his solo career. He released his debut solo album Blunderbuss in 2012. The album immediately gained very positive reviews from the media and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. His second album Lazaretto came out in 2014 and holds the record for most first-week vinyl sales since 1991. Over the years, Jack White has collaborated with many famous artists, including Neil Young and Bob Dylan.
