Muse tease new songs and album plans for 2018

In a short video, Matt Bellamy and Dom Howard of Muse reveal their plans for 2018, which include the release of new songs and probably a new album later this year. 

Earlier this year in an interview with NME, Matt Bellamy stated: “We’ve been working on a lot of new music, we’re going to release more new songs this year, working towards an album which will come out some time soon.”

Other plans of the band include exclusive performances at various festivals in North America and Europe. See the full list of dates below:

  • 20 April – Monterrey, Mexico: Pa’l Norte.
  • 6 May – Charlotte, North Carolina: Carolina Rebellion.
  • 25 May – Napa, California: BottleRock.
  • 2 June – Nürburg, Germany: Rock am Ring.
  • 3 June – Nuremberg, Germany: Rock im Park.
  • 8 June -Manchester, Tennessee: Bonnaroo.
  • 23 June – Lisbon, Portugal: Rock In Rio.

Muse

Muse are an English rock band formed in 1994. Their debut album Showbiz was released in 1999 and gained mixed and positive reviews. By the release of their third album, Muse were already established as a headliner at many festivals around the world, with very energetic live performances. Matt Bellamy’s falsetto, combined with the riffs and melodies of the band, is what makes Muse unique. Up until today, the band has sold over twenty million albums worldwide and won numerous awards including two Grammy Awards. Their latest album Drones was released in 2015 and their new one is expected really soon.
